Message: Relatives of mine served under Bolivar to help liberate South
America from Spanish tyranny. Many died...
The vision given to these sons
of Ireland was of a Grand Columbia, a place of culture, morality,
civility, shared propserity, and liberty. One served as Bolivar's aide
de camp. Most died of tropical disease while living in traiing camps in
abysmal conditions, with no money to buy food, medicine, shelter, or
other necessities. There was no money to pay them: it was stolen by
persons like Hugo Chavez, Mari Hernandez, and Rangel. They had a
different type of movement in mind, and betrayed Bolivar and his successor,
Sucre.
Hugo Chavez has appropriated the rhetoric of Bolivar
with none of the substance, certainly, this man, with help from
Cuban placed sleepers, has usurped the reins of authority over
Venezuela. His state controlled oil company is financing his race to become
the second western hemisphere superpower.
During his ill
fated attempted coup de etat, while hundreds of innocents died by his
command, Chavez cowered in the basement of the National Library. A
conquering hero!
When we purchase Citgo gas and other products
they retail, we help finance this evil cretin's menacing march to
Armageddon. Is that what we want?
When we buy from other oil
retailers whose supply chain is SUPPORTED by supplies form Venezuela, we
are buying missiles and tanks that CHavez first will use on his own
people if they object to the stolen election, then, next. on neighbors such
as Columbia, who prefer to work out their national desities and find
solutions to domestic issues without help from failed states such as
Cuba. What has Fidelismo gained Cuba? Hunger, despair, cultural and social
stagnation for all but Fidel's inner circle?
When we buy
products such as drinks, newspapers, tobacco products, etc., we help
PDVSA, the communist owned parent company, through Citgo, obtain
petrodollars for violence.
BOYCOTT TYRANNY! BOYCOTT CITGO!
Tell privately owned stations to switch suppliers and PROVE the
oil doesn't come through a communist owned supply chain. Swith to
biodiesel, car pool, buy a high mileage car, reduce dependance on oil
resources controlled by covert supporters of international terror, whether
middle eastern or south american!!!

Please do. My wife's grandfather died fighting the neo Fascist dictator General Perez, so that the Venezuelan people could have liberty, while hopefully improving the economy and modernizing to become more efficient.
The family takes seriously its' responsibility to treat employees fairly, pay a living wage, plus the traditional Christmas bonus, plus provide help to educate kids, pay unexpected medical bills, and more. They feel horrible that for too many years, money allocated per the constitution was frittered away on corruption and ineffective projects...all to the detriemtn of society and those with the least protection. This, as you may know, is the best aspect of the tradition of the Spanish Patron, the ideal citizen. Each day, her family is slipping into the abyss with the 75% to 80% who are now poor.
One family member was threatened by soldiers in her Rosales Polling station on election day...they aimed huge Swedish HK automatic assault rifles at her and her companeras trying to force them to close three or four hourse early....this was common. Too many places could not open at all in areas that strongly favored Rosales, too many Rosales ballots were partially or totally illegible...also tell people NEVER to buy Jimmy Carters books anymore nor to support his Carter Center. Like our petroleum corrupted Washington Admin, the Carter Center is helping to turn Venezuela Red, and abandoning the majority who love and emulate our nation, and who look to us for non-violent help.
Like hundreds of thousands of others, this family member was listed on the infamous Tascon list...she lost her job for being an official in an Opposition Party, and for refusing to sign a loyalty oath to the Chavista Party and to Chavez personally (as if he is Jesus Christ or something more important than the Consitution ) and whenever she looks for a new job, she is told that while she is qualified by job reference, by work history and performance record, by credential, etc....she is unqualified by reason of her "citizenship credentials, oh, you know, the Oath."
Chavez agents have been very clever in recruiting support among US media and liberal people. They also have been clever in exploiting corporate greed in striking convenia with the Admin and insudtry....It reminds me of the time of the Killing Fields in Cambodia, though, thank God, it has not come to that yet for 99.99% of the people, just that small number of opponents Chavez has caused to disappear during the greatest surge in crime in the nation's history. to people who profess to respect life adn human rights, even that number is too high...and it frankly should be a scary hint of what is to come when he implements Plan Avila, and then forces the people to use truece instead of money, closes all religious schools, tries to compel all nuns and priests to sign the loyalty oath to him, and implements the Law of Minorities....and requires all youth to do compulsory military service in a combat role....PLEASE, get the word out!
